DC1 wins Energy Evolution in New Construction award

We are very proud to announce that our Richmond Hill, DC1 data centre facility was recently the recipient of the Energy Evolution in New Construction Award at the first annual Alectra Energy Evolution Summit. Hosted by Alectra Utilities Inc., this exclusive event celebrates companies and organizations who participate in Alectra’s Save on Energy incentive programs and distinguish themselves as leaders in energy conservation initiatives.

DC1 utilizes the Canadian climate for free cooling techniques and participates in the PowerStream Conservation Incentive Program. The facility also features a power usage effectiveness (PUE) rating of 1.25, regardless of critical load utilization.

Urbacon Data Centre Solutions Inc. has multiple lease and pre-leasing opportunities in our various data centres, including DC2, currently under construction in Richmond Hill, and Montreal’s 544 facility, each reflecting the same or higher standards of efficiency and sustainability as DC1.

Sustainability is a top priority for UDCS. We are committed to creating industry-leading facilities that exceed client expectations while minimizing environmental impact.
